Vertical mill, also known as ultra-fine vertical mill, is an equipment that integrates crushing, drying, grinding, classification and conveying, and can grind block, granular and powdery raw materials into required powdery materials. The high production efficiency of vertical mills also means that daily maintenance is extremely important, especially the inspection and maintenance of grinding rollers, hydraulic tensioning systems, power systems, powder separators and other parts.
The grinding roller is the heart of the vertical mill. The grinding roller is inclined and has two main functions: one is to increase the contact area and improve the grinding efficiency; the other is to prevent large pieces of material from falling from the edge and blocking the air inlet. With the increase of grinding time, the grinding roller is gradually worn out, and the grinding roller can be turned over for use to prolong its service life and save costs.
Due to the long-term wear and vibration of the vertical mill, the gap between each connection part becomes larger, which is easy to cause the deviation of the position center of the grinding roller, which leads to the torque generated by the tension rod, which intensifies the vibration of the mill and causes destructive damage to the hydraulic cylinder and the foundation of the chassis. In daily maintenance, at least 1-2 times a year according to the production conditions, the radial system of the mill should be inspected, and the worn and aging spare parts should be replaced.
The hydraulic tensioning system is one of the very important equipment systems in the vertical mill, which plays a key role in the stable operation of the vertical mill. The huge grinding pressure exerted by the grinding roller on the material is provided by the hydraulic system. In daily maintenance, the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system is required to have a high cleanliness to prevent small particles from being brought into the hydraulic oil, causing scratches on the cylinder block and damage to the nitrogen bag; the hydraulic oil should be regularly tested and checked every six months during the use of the hydraulic oil. If it is found that the oil is emulsified and deteriorated, the hydraulic oil should be replaced in time; a reasonable grinding pressure should be set according to the characteristics of the material.
Under normal production conditions, the actual operating pressure should generally be set between 70% and 90% of the maximum pressure limit.
The power mainly refers to the main and auxiliary motors of the vertical mill. The inspection contents include whether the grounding of the motor is loose, and tighten it in time if any problem is found. Whether the position switch of the auxiliary motor is normal; whether the motor vibration, sound, temperature rise, current, voltage, etc. are normal; whether the motor lubrication is normal; Check whether the position and oil filter pressure difference are normal.
The powder separator can timely select the particles that reach a certain particle size in the milled material, so as to avoid material agglomeration, sticking to the grinding body and sticking to the silo in the mill, which can reduce the over-grinding of the material in the mill and improve the grinding efficiency. The powder separator is located on the top of the mill. It mainly checks whether the motor and coupling work normally, and whether the sound, vibration and temperature rise are normal.
The reducer is the heart of the safe operation of the vertical mill. In order to ensure the safe operation of the reducer, the operation of the gears and bearings of the reducer should be understood by regularly checking the impurities on the oil filter.
In the actual operation, the reasons should be analyzed in time, and the fault location should be correctly judged, so as to better ensure the safe production of vertical mills.
